Is It The End Of “Pay Per Play”?

January 30th, 2008

Is It The End Of Pay Per Play? There is a lot of controversy going on on the Internet about Pay Per Play these days. There are raving fans, but skeptics, too who see an instant death of the Pay Per Play program in a short time after the ads start playing on February 1st, 2008. The question is…

Will Pay Per Play win BIG time or is it really the END of it?

Let’s see what people are saying.

The Annoyance vs. Acceptance Controversy

“I hate audio ad while at work or in a meeting…”
“People will learn to expect the 5 second audio ad…”
“I instantly close any page that plays audio on load…”
“Just turn off the volume…”

As you can see some people don’t like the idea of “auto play”. They are afraid of the “annoyance factor”. Well, they may be right, but it is not the opinion of everyone. The fact is…

Fact #1: 550,000 Pay Per Play Members Have Been Earning Income For 2 ½ years

The whole Pay Per Play ads concept has been thoroughly researched and tested. NetAudioAds™ (the patent holder) already has over 550,000 registered members that have been earning income this way for 2 ½ years. Complaints are rare because the ads run for only 5 seconds and are topically related to the content of the website. Additionally…

Fact #2: Big brands like Harley Davidson use Pay Per Play to brand their company name

There are over 66,000 eager advertisers (including the BIG 8 in advertising) who are too easily consuming the 43 million ads served by the 550,000 members. And they want more, so they must be seeing a positive ROI in their reports!

Of course, some people will get annoyed by the audio ads, but there is always a solution. They can turn off the volume (and the publishers get paid anyway). IMHO, the level of the “annoyance factor” strongly depends on the quality of the audio ads and how closely they are related to your web page content. Also…

We are all used to 2.2 minutes of television ads but we still watch our favorite TV programs… so I don’t believe that 5 seconds of audio will keep people away from their favorite websites. The time will show. It’s a matter of acceptance by the general audience. Best of all…

Fact #3: Pay Per Play Media Is Backed By One Of The Top 5 Major Search Engines

We don’t know the Search Engine partner’s name yet. It should be released before February 1st, the day when audio ads start playing. However, this fact alone keeps me feel OK about the program. It doesn’t matter who the partner is. These guys obviously know what they are doing, so there is no need to worry especially if signing up for the program and staying in the program is free!

The Revenue vs. Traffic Controversy

“Use of this form of advertising is simply de-monetising your website…”
“I need some kind of ad program that pays better than AdSense…”
“I’m betting you cut your traffic in half, easily…”
“You get paid $.02 +/- per play and publishers get 25% of that which is well above standard…”

Website owners are afraid Pay Per Play ads will scare their regular visitors away and they will lose their audience. On the other hand the program pays well above standard and…

Fact #4: Pay Per Play Can Coexist with AdSense

As of this writing PPP ads do not violate the Google AdSense terms of service. So if you run AdSense ads, Pay Per Play is going to be additional stream of income for you on top of AdSense.

As you can see there is no right answer to all the Pay Per Play controversy at this very moment, but the time will show. One thing’s for sure…

Test It And See For Yourself

Unless you place and test the Pay Per Play ads on your site, you will never know how your visitors react to it. If you are a Pay Per Play “Core Partner” you will see the results shortly (after February 1st, 2008). If you are still hesitating about Pay Per Play, give the program a try. You can sign up for free and stay in the program for free forever. And if you don’t like the program, you can quit the program (for free of course) at any time. Following is the link to join the program if you are interested…

There is always going to be controversy when something new is introduced. Some people don’t like change but, tough luck…the definition of life is willing to adapt to change. It’s probably a jealosy thing…they are upset that they didn’t think of this brilliant ideal. But only time will tell how long this opportunity lasts. I’m just thankful that I got in when I did.

Pay Per Play (PPP) — Best Affiliate Program Ever!

Pay Per Play or PPP advertising is a new revolutionary way of audio advertising which allows you to cash in on every single visitor to your website… that is 100% conversion rate! Sweet isn’t it? :-)

All you do is place a little piece of code on a few or all pages of your website and you’re good to go. (No visible ads need to be placed; just a tiny 1×1 pixel.)

Each visitor is automatically played a professionally made 5 second audio ad that relates to the content of your page. The ad only plays once per visit (if the visitor refreshes the page or visits a different page on the same website no ad is played any more). No need to worry about upsetting your visitors.

Each time the ad is played, you earn a commission. :-)

Any website, new, old, with no traffic or huge traffic can join Pay Per Play affiliate program, regardless of Page Rank or Alexa Rank. The audio ads co-exist with your google Adsense ads so no worries of Adsense Policy Violation.

How Much Can You Make With The Affiliate Program?

Pay Per Play works on a bid management system similar to Google AdWords. It has the following compensation structure…

* 25% of what the advertiser spends on PPP ads you serve on
your own website(s) — EVERY MONTH!!

* 5% of what the advertiser spends on PPP ads played on the
websites of those you refer — EVERY MONTH!!

* 5% of what the advertiser spends on PPP ads played on the
websites that your direct referrals bring on board — EVERY MONTH!!

Don’t be fooled by the low 5% commission rates of the last two tiers. They are the reason why PPP is the best affiliate program ever! You can learn more about this Hidden Opportunity by clicking on the following link and signing up for more information:
